While we were all away from the office this bank holiday some rapscallion came in and threw up some rad graf.
Music by our very own Neil Higton’s band: Six Nation State – Take Me There
The talent behind the piece is Dep A.K.A. Rick Walker from Paintshop Studio. He’s been painting for about 20 years, inspired by the Hip Hop scene at the time and a copy of Spraycan Art.
Following the brief of from our MDs of “Something between the original New York scene and the newer Japanese-style anime. Be as abstract as you like, bringing our logo and colours into the design, just something cool.”
“Chatting to both Sam and Hal at the early stages I started to get a feel for what they had in mind and the attitude and ethos behind Punktilio. The design incorporates a mixture of influences, with a ‘punk’ ethic and a ‘future’ slant to represent the media and work they are involved in. But most importantly with this design I just tried to develop something that captured the feel and energy of the company and not be too literal.”

Everyone at Punktilio loves it, and we’re thinking it may have the same effect as when you get a tattoo, once you start you can’t stop.
